Job Description

Location: Washington, D.C.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $115,000 USD per annum, based on experience

Benefits: Comprehensive PTO, health benefits, retirement plan, performance bonuses, and professional development opportunities

Work Mode: Hybrid, 2-3 days in-office presence in downtown Washington, D.C.

Travel: Monthly, at most

Language Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Proficiency in written and spoken business Spanish and English.
  • Preferred: Conversational Portuguese (advantageous but not required).
  • RXN welcomes candidates with native, assimilated, or learned language skills. However, deep familiarity with South and Central America's political, business, and cultural landscapes is highly desired.

The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker passionate about marketing, policy, and public affairs? RXN seeks a Senior Marketing & Policy Associate to lead efforts in building, marketing, and servicing RXN’s growing presence in Latin America (LatAm). This role will be instrumental in helping U.S. companies expand into LatAm markets and supporting Latin American companies navigating U.S. regulatory landscapes at the federal and state levels.

Your Role at RXN

1. Brand, Digital & Traditional Marketing

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to elevate RXN’s presence in Latin American markets and attract U.S. and Latin American clients.
  • Manage RXN’s digital footprint for LatAm business development, including website content, social media, email marketing, and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Craft compelling marketing materials, including case studies, white papers, op-eds, blog posts, and newsletters, to highlight RXN’s expertise in LatAm public affairs.
  • Oversee SEO and audience targeting strategies to enhance engagement and lead generation.

2. Public Affairs & Policy Strategy

  • Support U.S. companies expanding into Latin America by analyzing policy landscapes, regulatory risks, and business opportunities.
  • Help LatAm companies navigate U.S. regulatory environments at the federal and state levels, offering strategic insights on public affairs campaigns.
  • Create client-facing reports, presentations, and briefings on key policy and regulatory trends affecting cross-border business.
  • Collaborate with RXN’s research team to develop insights-driven content that informs decision-making for clients and stakeholders.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with business leaders, policymakers, trade associations, and industry stakeholders in U.S. and LatAm markets.
  • Support client business development by crafting pitch decks, proposals, and marketing campaigns tailored to key audiences.
  • Participate in client meetings, webinars, and networking events to represent RXN’s expertise in LatAm public affairs.

4. Campaign Development & Execution

  • Support integrated public affairs campaigns, blending digital advocacy, media relations, and grassroots mobilization to drive policy influence.
  • Work across RXN teams to develop messaging strategies and marketing assets that align with client objectives and advocacy goals.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, using insights to refine marketing and public affairs efforts.

What We’re Looking For

RXN needs a strategic, creative, and results-driven professional who understands the power of marketing in advancing public affairs objectives.

You Should:

  • Have experience in digital and traditional marketing , particularly in public affairs, policy, advocacy (public, private, or NGO), government relations, or government experience.
  • Be a strong writer and communicator , able to craft compelling narratives across different content formats.
  • Have an interest in Latin American policy, regulatory affairs, and business development.
  • You should be comfortable working with social media platforms, content management systems, paid digital advertising, and email marketing tools .
  • Demonstrate project management skills , balancing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public affairs, government service, political campaigns, public affairs or lobbying firm marketing, or policy-related roles.
  • Experience with digital advocacy, grassroots campaigns, and bilingual content development .
  • Spanish proficiency is required.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn SEO strategies, CRM platforms, and paid media strategies.
