Become a key player as a Robotics Software Engineer:
We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain the software systems that drive robotic platforms. This role involves designing motion planning algorithms, refining perception systems, and ensuring seamless hardware integration. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative robotic solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance automation and efficiency.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:

• Design, develop, and test software for robotic control, real-time processing, and embedded systems
• Implement and optimize algorithms for motion planning, localization, mapping, and object recognition
• Integrate software with robotic hardware, including sensors, actuators, and controllers to ensure seamless functionality
• Work with hardware engineers to diagnose and resolve system-level issues efficiently
• Develop and refine perception algorithms using sensor fusion, machine vision, and advanced data processing techniques
• Perform simulation and real-world testing using platforms like Gazebo or Webots to validate system performance
• Maintain well-documented, scalable, and maintainable codebases to support long-term system evolution
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to align software with project goals
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and agile development workflows

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in robotics software development or a similar field
• Hands-on experience with robotic frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures for robotics applications
• Experience with computer vision tools like OpenCV or PCL
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded system development
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN

Here’s what else might help you out:

• Experience with autonomous navigation, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), or advanced path planning
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for robotic perception
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker
• Experience with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA) or hardware acceleration for computational efficiency

Pay Range:
$50-$75/hour
