A high-precision machining manufacturing company that supplies components to the aerospace industry hiring a 1st and 2nd shift Machinist in Mukwonago, WI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read refractometer to maintain proper concentration and coolant levels.
In addition to setting tools and making offsets in tool page, load a program and establish work holding positions and make minor program edits.
Edit individual tool feed rates to establish SFM (Surface Feet per Minute) and related chip loads.
Read, interpret, and understand blueprint specifications to methods of manufacturing (MOM) per routing.
Identify when to replace dull tooling before catastrophic failure.
Comply with all quality and safety regulations and procedures.

Job Details
2+ years of professional experience working as a Machinist
Experience with 3-axis programs
Ability to set-up and adjust work holding devises.
General understanding machine types and their applications.
Ability to understand and comprehend industrial math.
Strong knowledge of technical GD&T drawing and reading skills.
Ability to understand quality standards and gauging.
Basic understanding of hard gauging checks on granite table.
