Prominent national litigation law firm is seeking a strong Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant to join their growing their large LA office. The ideal candidate will have substantial civil litigation defense experience, be familiar with e-filing in state/federal courts, calendaring, TOC/TOA, and various legal administrative duties. Responsibilities:
• Editing and finalizing litigation documents
• Calendaring court dates/deadlines
• Filing with State and Federal courts (including e-filing)
• General administrative duties, such as answering phones, expense reports, timekeeping, and managing the attorney's schedules
Qualifications:
*Must have at least 3-5+ years of civil litigation law firm experience
*Must have knowledge of court filing requirements, including experience with e-filing in state/federal courts
*Strong software skills and knowledge, (MS Word, Outlook), legal software, etc.
*Excellent communication skills to communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients
