Job Summary: About Us Exos is a leader in the field of human performance, a category we created more than 20 years ago. As part of our training system, we collect comprehensive performance data across NFL, NBA, and MLB athletes training at our facilities. The insights gleaned from this data enhance our athlete experiences, improve coaching decisions, and further the field of human performance. We are seeking a passionate and driven Sports Science Intern to join our team. This hands-on internship is designed for graduate students pursuing degrees in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or a related field. Interns will gain practical experience in sports performance assessment, data analysis, and applied research while working alongside experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting athlete performance assessments (e.g., Force velocity testing, force plate analysis, motion capture). Collect, analyze, and interpret physiological and biomechanical data. Support the development and implementation of evidence-based training and recovery programs. Work with strength and conditioning coaches, physical therapists, dietitians, and sports scientists to monitor athlete progress. Assist in research projects, literature reviews, and data presentation. Maintain and calibrate equipment used in testing and analysis. Participate in team meetings, workshops, and educational sessions. Contribute to reports and presentations for athletes, coaches, and stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills: Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field. Must be in a program accepting course credit in exchange for an internship experience, as this is an unpaid internship Strong foundation in human physiology, biomechanics, and sports performance principles. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., force plates, VBT, motion capture, heart rate monitoring, body composition). Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Passion for sports performance, research, and athlete development. Have current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (Students who are not currently certified may seek certification during the application process) Benefits: Hands-on experience in a high-performance environment.
