A company that fabricates commercial furniture is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong understanding of the renovation process.

Duties

• Develop and present design concepts that meet client needs and preferences.
• Utilize software tools such as Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, Sketchup, and AutoCAD to create detailed design plans.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and gather necessary information for design projects.
• Collaborate with contractors and other professionals to ensure designs are executed accurately during the renovation process.
• Create lighting designs that enhance the functionality and ambiance of spaces.
• Prepare budgeting estimates for projects, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide clients with the best options available.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, Sketchup, AutoCAD, and lighting design tools.
• Strong knowledge of remodeling processes and contract management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
