Landmark Equipment is hiring for a Forklift Service Technician to maintain, service and support material handling equipment, systems and products at the customer location or Landmarks shop in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer requirements are met. Qualifications ·

• The ability to troubleshoot, repair and recommend future services on Forklifts, Boom Lifts, Telescoping forklifts and other heavy equipment. ·
• The ability to be flexible and move from one job to another, but be able to prioritize the importance of each job. ·
• High School or Equivalent Education. · Excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers. Verbal and written. ·
• Mechanical knowledge to repair and be resourceful for equipment that is unfamiliar. ·
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, schematics to assist in repairs. ·
• Previous mechanical experience or technical schooling. ·
• Ability to operate in a safe manner. Forklifts, boom lifts, Telescopic forklifts, etc. ·
• Ability to operate efficiently with a team. ·
• Maintain good attendance, punctuality is a must. ·
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to customers. ·
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record. ·
• Drive and work professionally as a representative of Landmark Equipment. ·
• Basic hand tools to perform common repairs. ·
• Professional appearance.

Responsibilities ·

• Examine equipment to determine the malfunction. Including, but not limited to engine, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, brakes and fuel system. ·
• Disassemble, repair and assemble components in a clean organized manner. ·
• Repair equipment located at Landmark’s shop or the customer location. ·
• Interact with the customer in person or via phone. ·
• Manage and schedule PM’s (Periodic Maintenance) and follow up repairs. ·
• Produce completed work orders and submit on a timely basis with accurate and appropriate detail of work performed. ·
• Review work in progress, complete all open work orders immediately. ·
• Represent Landmark Equipment in a professional manner. ·
• Maintain work area/ company vehicle as this represents the employee and company. ·
• Complete all work consistently for productivity and quality. ·
• Check in with supervisor in the morning, throughout day and end of day. ·
• Respectfully take direction from Service Manager. ·
• Physical requirements. Lifting and moving up to 75 lbs occasionally. Full body motion for climbing, pushing, lifting. ·
• Assist as needed for various projects or jobs as required. ·

Business hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am- 4:00 pm with overtime as required. ·

Complete background check and drug screening. Pay range at $25.00 per hour to $38.00 per hour depending on your skill set and job experience.
