Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 6th Grade English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in the study of English language arts, fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Teach students the fundamentals of grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
• Encourage students to read a variety of literature, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• State teaching certification for middle school English.
• Previous teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
