We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Sushi Chef to lead the sushi program at Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar in White Plains . This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft an innovative sushi menu and oversee a talented team in an award-winning, upscale dining environment . The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for sushi, an impeccable eye for detail, and strong leadership skills .

• Lead and manage the sushi team in daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency .
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness .
• Train and mentor staff, fostering a positive, high-performance work culture .
• Stay current with sushi trends , source the finest ingredients , and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef , ideally in an upscale or Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurant .
• Strong leadership and team management skills .
• In-depth knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and sushi craftsmanship .
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment .
• Excellent communication and organizational skills .
