POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages and oversees supply chain for plant operations.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

• Generate weekly production schedules for the manufacturing facilities based upon MRP recommendations, sales trends, sales forecasts, warehouse and transportation capabilities and good manufacturing principles.
• Communicate and review forecasts and sales trends with sales department.
• Generate tentative production schedules looking forward at least two weeks in order to assure there is adequate production capacity and manpower.
• Partner with production and warehouse management for adequate manpower requirements to meet current and future production schedules.
• Ensure the timely purchase of non-manufactured full goods to support sales forecasts.
• Review all full goods inventories daily. Modify the production/purchase schedule accordingly to ensure no out-of-stock or oversupply of product.
• Communicate daily with the Transport office to ensure there are no product shortages which could require production or purchase schedule changes.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Assure that performance of all work-related activities will eliminate/minimize personal injury and damage to Company property.
• Perform other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

• 2 years minimum experience in production and/or warehouse operations.
• Computer literate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Production planning experience preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of $80-100k. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Six (6) days of sick leave; two (2) weeks of vacation accrued throughout the year; nine (9) Company Paid Holidays and a 401K Plan with employer match.
