Key Responsibilities
1.\tInventory Management
o\tReceive, label, and organize incoming parts and components in the stockroom.
o\tEnsure accurate counts, tracking, and record-keeping of stock levels for over 4,000 SKUs, updating inventory management systems as needed.
o\tPerform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies and reporting shortages.
2.\tOrder Fulfillment and Stock Replenishment
o\tPick, pack, and deliver parts and components to production and assembly teams based on order requirements.
o\tMonitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to reorder parts and supplies as needed to avoid production delays.
o\tPrepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy of items and quantities.
3.\tQuality Control and Inspection
o\tInspect incoming parts for quality, accuracy, and conformity to specifications, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor.
o\tMaintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment, adhering to company standards for inventory storage.
4.\tData Entry and Record-Keeping
o\tUpdate inventory records in the companys ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting of stock levels.
o\tMaintain files, logs, and related documentation as required by company policies and regulatory standards.
5.\tCollaboration and Communication
o\tCoordinate with Production, Procurement, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and minimize production downtime.
o\tCommunicate effectively with all departments to provide updates on stock levels, order status, and any issues affecting production.
Qualifications
\tEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; an associates degree or coursework in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics is preferred.
\tExperience: 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or stockroom environments, ideally in parts or equipment manufacturing.
\tSkills:
o\tProficiency with inventory management software (ERP experience a plus).
o\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.
o\tAbility to lift and move parts and materials up to [weight requirement, e.g., 50 lbs] as needed.
o\tGood organizational, time management, and communication skills.
\tKnowledge:
o\tFamiliarity with electrical, hydraulic, machined parts, valves, and related equipment.
o\tBasic understanding of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
