Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Trevose, PA

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and must have prior experience in a staff accounting role. This is not an entry-level transactional role; we are looking for someone who has worked across multiple areas of accounting—not just accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Provide support for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
• Contribute to internal and external audit processes, including document preparation and coordination
• Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the team in achieving timely and accurate reporting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity during the Accounting Manager's leave

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Prior experience as a Staff Accountant or in a relevant accounting internship is required
• Broad accounting experience across areas like AP, AR, journal entries, month-end close, and audits
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

Preferred:

• Experience assisting with payroll accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and internal controls

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
