Job Description

Are you passionate about helping students achieve their potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 24/25 school year. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

About the Role:
As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will provide virtual instruction to K-12 students with mild to moderate needs. You'll collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that ensure every student thrives. This role requires 30-37.5 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, during school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and tailored virtual instruction to students in grades K-12.
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and compliance with school policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Current New Hampshire certification in Special Education.
Proficiency in developing and managing IEPs.
Ability to meet all clearance requirements for public or charter schools.
Successfully pass a technology screening to ensure readiness for remote teaching.

Position Details:

Full-Time: 30-37.5 hours per week.
Student Population: K-12 with mild to moderate needs.
Fully Remote: Work from the comfort of your home while supporting a traditional K-12 school setting.
Duration: 2024-2025 School Year.
