Overview

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, in Reno, Nevada, has a career opportunity and is looking for someone with a proven track record to be the Director of Spa Operations. Monarch Casino & Resort, Inc. Since 2000 Atlantis Steakhouse and Bistro Napa restaurants at Atlantis have received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. Atlantis was the first casino in northern Nevada to launch an organics recycling program, single-stream recycling program, and biodiesel fuel recycling program, and has been awarded the prestigious top rating of Four Green Globes by the Green Building Initiative (GBI) and is recognized as a property that demonstrates national leadership and excellence in the practice of water, energy, and environmental efficiency to reduce environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing, managing, providing strategic leadership and direction to the spa/salon operations. Additional responsibilities will include develop, implement, and enforce all company and departmental policies and procedures as well as standards of quality and performance. Maximize revenues and control costs of spa/salon operations. Supervise the planning and scheduling of management work assignments and performance development. Ensure effective operations of the spa/salon at all times.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must possess exceptional people skills, have a passion for guest service, eye for creativity, innovation, attention to detail, and strong operational experience in a Forbes rated establishment . The candidate must be proficient in staff management and training, be exceptionally goal oriented, and knowledgeable of current spa and salon treatments and trends. Computer proficiency is required. Bachelor's degree preferred, but commensurate experience is acceptable.
