Vinyl Wrap Installer

Signarama of Asheville is looking for an experienced vinyl installer to add to our growing team. Projects will range from full- coverage Fleet grade wraps to small- scale spot graphics, as well as high- end interior design elements like museum displays and murals. Travel is limited to the Western NC area.

Essential Functions and Activities:

• Install vinyl wraps on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for installation by cleaning, priming, and ensuring a smooth application area.
• Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to understand project requirements and desired outcomes.
• Cut and trim materials to fit the vehicle's shape and contours accurately.
• Apply vinyl wraps using heat guns, squeegees, and other tools to ensure smooth adhesion and eliminate air bubbles.
• Ensure proper alignment of installed designs and patterns for a polished and professional appearance.
• Provide exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise placement of graphics, logos, and designs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficient workflow and safety.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise during the installation process.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and installation techniques

Qualifications:

• Vinyl Wrap and Paint Protection Film Installation: 2 years
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing and team concepts
• Good problem solving, analytical and trouble-shooting skills
• 3M or Avery Certification is a plus

Physical Requirements/Hazards

• Job requires extensive standing, stooping or bending, lifting, reaching, twisting and turning to install vinyl and disassemble and assemble parts.
• Lifting will involve fabricated parts and assemblies weighing anywhere from several pounds to 50 pounds.
• Parts weighing more than 50 pounds are handled with a hoist or with help from another team member.
• Some jobs require work outside in the elements
