Job Description
The Spiral Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient and precise operation of spiral duct fabrication machines. This role includes setting up, operating, and maintaining the machinery, ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.
Set up and calibrate spiral duct fabrication machines according to specifications.
Operate machines to fabricate spiral ducts as per the project requirements.
Monitor the production process and adjust settings as necessary to ensure product quality and consistency.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent downtime.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
Document production data and maintain accurate records of output, defects, and machine maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.
Qualifications:
technical training in machine operation is a plus.
Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in spiral duct fabrication or a related field.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial elements.
Must adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
