SUMMARY:

Responsible for driving sales volume and margin through a strategic understanding of competitive capabilities, pricing, and leverage (destination locations) to ensure we maximize margin. Provides quality service to customers by selling products, meeting customer needs, and exceeding expectations.

Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 base: annual bonus: truck allowance: comprehensive benefits: relocation assistance and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with and support all industry and company safety regulations, rules, and procedures.
• Develop a weekly sales call plan to ensure adequate customer and territory coverage that aligns with company objectives.
• Generate new business in addition to managing company's existing customer portfolio.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Accurately forecast sales tons, average sales price, and revenues.
• Manage and maintain sales and project backlogs.
• Assist in managing and collecting Accounts Receivables.
• Provide up to date market analysis.
• Coordinate and communicate with other team members and departments to optimize sales and company performance.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a construction related field preferred.
• One to five years in construction materials sales preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive one's own vehicle for business purposes.
• Strong knowledge of the DFW construction market, materials, customers, and competitive forces.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and prioritize one's work duties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
