In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide a range of public health nursing services to individuals or families in a variety of settings. See the full job class specification here: A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is: Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing with major course work in public health nursing and one (1) year of nursing experience. Other requirements include: Possession of a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California Possession of a valid California State Public Health Nursing Certificate Possession of a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record Willing to work evenings or weekends Some positions require bilingual or bicultural skills Applicants must submit a completed application and responses to the supplemental questionnaire.
