About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and General Manager to lead one of the most diverse and innovative public radio stations in the United States. The successful candidate will be a champion of the organization's mission, which is deeply rooted in the values of quality, independent journalism, and community service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years' of senior-level leadership experience, a proven track record in fundraising and marketing, and a strong understanding of digital media and its role in content distribution and fundraising. They should be an entrepreneurial leader with a commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusiveness. The role requires a leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and a commitment to the values of the organization.
