Hiring an OSP Inspector for On-Site Role in Nashville, TN – Expertise in Fiber Construction & GIS Required!"

What will you be doing as an OSP Inspector?

• Supervise and inspect fieldwork, including excavation, boring, hand-hole placement, fiber cable installation, and restoration, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Strong understanding of outside plant construction, line splicing, and substructure.
• Knowledgeable in State and Federal OSHA and NEC codes.
• Proficient in geospatial tools like 3GIS, Google Earth, or similar applications.
• Skilled in general computer programs (MS Office, Adobe, GSuite, etc.).
• Advise contractors on violations and recommend improvements, applying expertise in OSP construction, safety, and best practices.

What do you bring to the table as an OSP Inspector?

• Outside Plant experience in underground and aerial construction
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Proficiency in GIS programs
• Understanding of safety requirements as dictated by TDOT and Metro Nashville government
