We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Trial Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated, ambitious, and highly skilled attorney with a strong background in plaintiff’s personal injury and PI Litigation. The ideal candidate will have considerable trial experience, a deep understanding of Texas Procedure and Texas Civil Procedure, and a proven track record in discovery responses, depositions, and Motions Practice. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and trial strategy.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and motions.
• Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses and handle all aspects of discovery.
• Manage all phases of personal injury litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Apply an in-depth understanding of Texas Procedure and Texas Civil Procedure in all legal proceedings.
• Utilize excellent negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain strict compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
• Manage caseload effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of their case progress.
• Utilize strong legal writing skills to effectively communicate complex legal concepts and arguments.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a plaintiff attorney, specifically in the area of personal injury.
• Extensive trial experience, including jury trials and courtroom experience.
• Proficient in Texas Procedure and Texas Civil Procedure.
• Demonstrated experience in discovery responses, depositions, and Motions Practice.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in mediations and court hearings.
• Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
• Proficiency in case management and the ability to handle a high caseload.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• A deep understanding of legal compliance and court proceedings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and team members.
