Schedule based on a 37.5 hour work week. Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional weekends may be required. Located at the Computer Warehouse BuildingDuties include but are not limited to: Receive phone requests for medical gases and various general phone requests and issues; Performs recordkeeping and data entry from a variety of sources into materials management financial and accounting systems; Clearing/receiving various goods by quantity and unit of measure to be viewed by all purchasing departments and accounts payable; Office management to include but not limited to operating office machines, i.e. fax, copier, printers, etc; Performs data entry of received goods and services for Upstate Medical University and Research Foundation; Accurate and efficient filing receipts and purchase orders and signed receipts for goods delivered; Gather/collect freight receipts to be forwarded to accounts payable and Campus purchasing; Provide general customer service to departments, labs, Nursing and clinical services and vendors. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License. Minimum Qualifications The NYS Department of Civil Service has developed the NY HELPS program.
