Join Our Team as a Certified Nurse Midwife!

Summary:

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of women and families? CHRISTUS Health is on the lookout for a passionate Certified Nurse Midwife to join our dynamic OBGYN practice in Beaumont. Here, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians and midwives at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas—St. Elizabeth, a renowned 431-bed regional referral center recognized as a healthcare leader in Southeast Texas.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to patients throughout their pregnancy journey.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and babies.
• Utilize your leadership skills to guide and support patients and staff alike.
• Evaluate patient status and healthcare procedures to maintain high-quality care.
• Implement innovative ideas and systems to enhance patient experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current certification to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Texas.
• Valid Texas midwife certification.
• At least one year of full-time post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
• Graduate of a State Board and/or NLN accredited School of Nursing and Advanced Nurse Practitioner program.
• Master’s Degree is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with diverse populations.
• Leadership and analytical skills to direct patient care and monitor quality.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in all duties.
• CPR and ACLS certifications preferred.
