NEW POSITION - Embedded API Inspector – Full-Time

Optik Technical Solutions, LLC is hiring an API 510/570 Certified Inspector for a full-time, embedded role at a client site. This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional.

Qualifications:

Required:

• API 510 & 570 certifications (minimum 3 years of experience with at least one).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid TWIC card

Preferred:

• API 653 and AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certifications.
• Experience with Asset Performance Management (APM) software.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal and external inspections of equipment and piping systems.
• Approve and recommend repairs while verifying completed work.
• Compile field notes, historical documentation, and drawings for technical reports.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance, control processes, and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Work effectively within a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work overtime, including night shifts and weekends.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures or noisy environments.
