Job Summary:

Audio Visual Dynamics is looking for a skilled Mid-Level AV Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, operating, and troubleshooting advanced audiovisual (AV) systems for live events, corporate meetings, and productions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AV technology, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment, including sound systems, video components (switchers, projectors, etc.).
• Candidate is expected to be at a minimum equivalent to a strong A2 or V2 role, with A1 and/or V1 potential.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues quickly and efficiently.
• Provide on-site technical support during live events, ensuring high-quality audio and video performance.
• Collaborate with event planners, production teams, and IT departments to execute AV setups.
• Train entry-level technicians and assist in developing AV best practices.
• Ensure all AV equipment is properly maintained, tested, and stored.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging AV technologies.

Warehouse responsibilities

• Quality control procedures
• Pulling, Loading and unloading of equipment as necessary
• Operation of a forklift.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with AV technology in live event production, preferably as an A2, V2, or higher.
• Strong working knowledge of AV signal flow, routing, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with digital audio consoles, Dante audio networking, and video switchers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and transport AV equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Understanding of LED wall setup and projection mapping.

Salary/Benefits

• The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 + bonus, commensurate with experience.
