Addison Central School District Library Assistant 2025-2026 Addison Central School District is seeking a part-time (.50 FTE) Library Assistant at Middlebury Union Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year for an anticipated vacancy. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, clear communication skills and a desire and willingness to help others and be a part of a team. This position is 17.5 hours per week cataloging and organizing library resources (books, ebooks, database records, technology equipment), inventory management, and covering circulation desk assisting students, faculty, and staff with books and reference. Preferred Qualifications include: -Experience with bibliographic data, marc records and library catalog systems -Strong technical skills and familiarity interpreting and using records from systems such as Library of Congress and OCLC -Interest in publications, books, authors, genres, and metadata -Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy; -Familiarity with library collection policies and procedures; -Ability to work independently as directed; and -Ability to work collaboratively with library and technology team Apply by submitting a letter of interest, resume, and three current reference letters via School Spring.
