Experience: 5+ years of corporate tax experience including US multinational corporations and public accounting
Education: Bachelor’s degree in US GAAP Accounting or Finance required; US CPA, and/or Masters in US Taxation a plus
US international tax experience with a US-headquartered multinational corporation, well-versed in ASC740 principles, and an understanding of transfer pricing concepts
Self-starter with good judgment and strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and a quick learner with a positive "can do" attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel, Alteryx, and NetSuite
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
This role is responsible for US GAAP foreign tax provision, US international tax provision and tax return compliance, and transfer pricing computations
Prepare and review quarterly and year-end US GAAP income tax provision regarding foreign subsidiaries and affiliates under ASC740
Prepare and review US international tax attributes and positions during the quarterly tax provision and forecasting processes and computing E&P, subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC, BEAT, etc
Prepare and Review US-focused international tax compliance including the US tax return workpaper and international forms for the US 1120, such as 1120-F, 5471s, 8858s, 8975, 8990, 8991, 8992, and 1118s. An understanding of the 861-expense allocation process for FTC and FDII required.
Prepare and review quarterly transfer pricing and intercompany calculations according to the Company’s transfer pricing policies
Monitor US international and foreign legislative and regulatory changes (including OECD guidelines on Pillar 2)
Research, analyze, and draft technical memoranda on US international tax issues
Assist with implementing process improvements
Assist with special tax projects as assigned
Support local foreign country tax return processes on an as-needed basis
Assist with reviewing statutory financial statements and associated tax provision
This role will report to the Senior Tax Manager, US International Tax
Work Environment: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $130,000.00 – $196,000.00.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
