Job Description
Position Summary: In the position of International Logistics Coordinator, you will plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to internal or external customers based on needs ensuring each load is delivered safely, and accurately.
Essential Job Functions: - Review shipment materials before distributions, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes. Facilitate communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.
- Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL) for outbound shipments. Review Order Picker freight ticket to ensure accuracy. Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, Customer Service requirements, and other records to determine priorities and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules. Prioritizing time sensitive orders, make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
- Coordinate and track customer shipments and purchase orders from vendors. Update daily purchase order tracker before shift end.
- Communicate with customers, dispatchers and drivers regarding delays, issues and updates. Reach out to customers to ensure they will be able to receive freight at identified location.
- Provide cost analysis for shipping via freight to various departments regularly. Controls costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting most cost-efficient method of shipment.
- Monitor the POS Appointments email. Audit all inbound request and schedule accordingly.
- Investigate and resolve logistics issues to ensure on-time delivery of goods to customers. Responding to customer inquiries and escalate clients to the proper channels if appropriate.
Position Requirements: - Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Logistics, Operations, Marketing, or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in warehouse distribution, shipping, receiving
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in logistics
- Computer Skills Desired: Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook

Base Pay Range: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
