We are seeking highly qualified QA/QC and Construction Inspectors who is an active member of the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR) to join our team in Puerto Rico. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and building codes across various construction projects. This role requires a strong background in both quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and construction inspection, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement QA/QC protocols and procedures.
• Inspect materials, products, and workmanship to ensure they meet the specified standards.
• Perform tests on materials and equipment to verify quality.
• Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Identify, document, and address any quality issues, non-conformances, or deviations from project plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality and construction-related issues.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and tests.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Stay updated on industry standards, construction methods, quality assurance best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to junior inspectors and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Active member of the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC inspection and construction inspection.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control processes, construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Certification in QA/QC or construction inspection (e.g., ACI, ASTM, OSHA certifications) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in quality management and construction management software and tools.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written are required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
