About the position Collinson Grant helps clients make informed recruitment and promotion decisions. Our solutions range from one-to-one assessments of potential directors, to group assessment and development centres for graduates. Feedback is provided to clients both verbally and in writing and is always thorough, direct, and pragmatic. We are a small team of UK-based psychologists, and we regularly conduct assessments for our established US clients. To support continued growth and reduce the need for international travel, we are seeking an Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychologist based in Illinois to join our team. In this job, you will conduct tailored, full-day assessments for individual candidates. These assessments support clients' personnel decisions by providing clear insights into strengths, risks, and development needs. You will also contribute to the growth of our presence in the US by building on existing relationships and identifying new opportunities. Most work is carried out in Chicago, with occasional travel to other locations. We are seeking an I/O Psychologist who has: a PhD or PsyD in I/O Psychology significant experience in assessing and developing managers and senior leaders, including conducting one-to-one interviews and psychometric testing a professional, pragmatic approach that has been honed across numerous industrial sectors the confidence to credibly advise senior leaders within large organisations on hiring and promotion decisions strong report-writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and practical feedback willingness to travel, as some assessments may take place in other states or occasionally internationally line management experience.
