GSM Services is looking for a motivated
Entry-Level Residential Installer to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the HVAC and home services industry. Within six months, employees are expected to gain proficiency in their responsibilities and may advance to Residential Installer Level II.
Responsibilities: - Learn and adhere to GSM policies and procedures.
- Gain proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain clean job sites and company vehicles daily.
- Become familiar with different materials and equipment used on jobs.
- Understand ductwork and venting materials and their proper applications.
- Progress towards completing basic job requirements independently.
- Accurately complete timecards and track materials as needed.
- Work diligently to meet the Sundown Rule (complete tasks within the day).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Valid NC or SC driver's license.
- Reliable attendance and a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Possession of minimum personal tools as required.
- Ability to read and write English at a high school level.
Physical Demands: - Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and use hands.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: - Moderate noise levels with occasional variations.
- Exposure to changing priorities and frequent interruptions.
- Work in a variety of conditions, including rooftops, crawlspaces, attics, basements, and extreme weather.
