Job Title: HR Onboarding Coordinator (Seasonal)

Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid - Downtown Orlando / Remote)

Duration: April - July 2025 Pay: $19/hr

Status: Part-Time Hourly/ Up to 20 hours a week

Position Summary: Think of it as being the "traffic controller" for the hiring and onboarding process. We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Onboarding Coordinator to support our HR team with the onboarding of new and returning employees. This seasonal role is key to ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive onboarding experience while adhering to federal, state, and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities: (There's more to this, but we'll dive into the details during the interview process.)

  • Provide administrative support for hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Manage data entry for new hires in payroll and onboarding systems (Workbright & Paylocity).
  • Monitor and follow up on hire paperwork, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and document completion.
  • Coordinate onboarding tasks with hiring managers and new hires.
  • Offer guidance and support to new employees, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prepare reports and assist with HR-related research as needed.

Qualifications: (Attention to detail is key!)

  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in an HR environment.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes, I-9, E-Verify, and background checks.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software (ATS, job boards, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
  • Must be based in Central Florida and authorized to work in the US. (E-Verify administered)

  • Hybrid role: work remotely and in our Downtown Orlando office.
  • Flexibility to cover weekends as needed.
  • Part-Time: 20 hours a week.
