Housekeeper I Position

This opening is for the Housekeeper I position. Employees may work at any of the following locations depending on their manager's discretion:

This position is specifically for the 2nd shift. You must be able to work the required schedule of Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am with rotating weekends and holidays to be considered. Candidates must also have the ability to speak and understand English.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
• Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues, and other concerns.
• Practices proper methods of infection control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
• Maintains closet, housekeeping cart, and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly, and good working condition.
• Maintains department's standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Education Requirement:

High School graduate or equivalent, required.

Skills:

• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.

Experience:

Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.
