We are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic FSQA (Food Safety and Quality Assurance) Manager to join our team in the Accounting + Finance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring that our products meet all regulatory, industry, and company standards. This is a permanent position where you will be driving continuous improvement in the FSQA function, leading food safety audits, and ensuring compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards. If you have a passion for food safety and quality, and a track record of excellence in managing FSQA in a high-speed, high-volume environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality assurance protocols.
2. Ensure compliance with GFSI, Sanitation, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and other relevant food safety standards.
3. Serve as the SQF (Safe Quality Food) Practitioner and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Coordinator for the company.
4. Lead and manage audits, both internal and external, ensuring that all necessary corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
5. Develop and implement SQF systems and processes, and ensure their effective operation.
6. Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify and resolve food safety and quality issues.
7. Continually evaluate and update FSQA procedures and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a FSQA management role in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Certified SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator.
4. Proven experience with GFSI, Sanitation, CAPA, and other food safety standards.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage audits.
6. Strong knowledge of SQF systems and their implementation.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
