LHH is hiring for a Finance Manager for a large client based in Erie PA.
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in strategic planning and decision-making, ensuring financial practices align with business goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax filings.
Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.
Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial systems.
Qualifications:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
~8–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
~ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
~ Proficiency in financial software (e.g., D365, Tableau, OneStream) and Microsoft Office Suite.
~ Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments is highly desirable
~ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
~ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
