Email Marketing Specialist
One of Southwest Florida’s most prominent agencies is looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist with hands-on experience with email campaign production, automation, and management to help clients achieve their goals through effective email and paid digital strategies. The role is an intermediate-level position that will work closely with accounts, social, PR, web and other departments in the company. The ideal candidate should have proven success building and managing a variety of email campaigns for multiple clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively implement client’s respective strategy into successful email marketing campaigns that achieve specific client goals and business objectives
- Write, execute, and schedule weekly, monthly, and quarterly e-newsletters, email blasts, and campaigns through a variety of email marketing platforms
- Develop and execute high impact email campaigns supporting the full funnel to establish messaging, targeting, testing, and the plan for measurement
- Develop tests and implement monthly campaigns, automated drip sequences, triggered emails, and transactional correspondence
- Provide quality assurance for outgoing email campaigns for the proper image-to-text ratio, image-sizing, font-sizing, device-rendering, and segmentation
- Maintain list health and integration with other vendors
- Set up audience segmentation and targeted lists to achieve client goals
- Monitor, track, and report on all marketing campaign performance (open rates, CTR, etc.). Provide analyses of email campaigns and recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness
- Work closely with the creative team to develop and test new creative
- Keep up to date with current marketing initiatives, creative content strategies, and overall channel growth and best practices
- Perform email marketing audits and provide recommendations
- Produce monthly, quarterly , and ad-hoc digital reports on key performance indicators across all platforms, identifying key takeaways and strategies for improvement
- Manage client reputations by consistently monitoring and responding to reviews in each client’s brand voice
- Maintain client online listings on multiple platforms including, but not limited to, Google My Business, Yelp, Bing, TripAdvisor, etc.
- Develop and implement paid social ads including through Facebook Ads Manager
- Provide support to produce livestreams and podcasts
- Distribute video and audio podcasts to all the major podcast listings
- Regularly attend client and team meetings as needed
Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in email marketing production
- Proven experience creating and distributing email campaigns through email service platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Active Campaign, Klaviyo or similar
- Expertise in email best practices, including automation, segmentation, deliverability, copy, and design approaches
- Experience in collaborating with marketing teams to meet and execute creative and content needs for email and paid digital campaigns
- Extensive knowledge with reporting on results and providing strategic recommendations, specifically presenting on how campaigns serve looking at all areas including email, web, organic and paid social, PR, and more
- Experience with producing and distributing livestreams and podcasts
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of email marketing tools, including Constant Contact, MailChimp, Active Campaign, Klaviyo or similar
- Highly proficient in building audiences for segmentation and re-targeting, A/B testing, staging and deployment, and automated campaigns
- Strong knowledge of email best practices
- Proficient knowledge in paid social media ads including Facebook Ads Manager
- Knowledge and experience executing strategies for online reputation management and review monitoring
- Knowledge of Podcast and livestream creation, production, and distribution
