Zoom Room Woodland Hills is the area's premier indoor dog training facility, is seeking passionate dog lovers to become an integral part our team! You will be responsible for training, as well as selling merchandise and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

We use positive reinforcement training only and offer group and private classes in obedience, agility, puppy training, playgroups as well as enrichment classes and workshops. When we look for new trainers, we're really focused on those with excellent people skills - great, articulate communicators. We also prefer applicants who deeply care about making a difference in the community as the majority of our clients have newly rescued dogs from shelters. Dog training experience is required .

In addition to teaching dog training classes, our trainers also work customer service shifts.

Job Requirements include:

• Leading group and private dog training classes
• Customer service
• Maintaining a clean facility
• Retail product sales

• and plenty of head scratches and belly rubs!

The ideal candidate will:

• Passion for animal care and training as well as a genuine interest for improving the lives of pets and their parents
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Ability to lift heavy objects (about 30 pounds) associated with training equipment and supplies
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Experience in generating business revenue
• Reliable transportation
• Attention to detail
• Be a team player

Hours and Compensation:

• Store hours are Mon-Fri 11am-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-6pm.
• Pay increases attainable when certain targets and certifications are met
• Hourly wage $17-$22 per hour (depends on experience and certifications)
