What you'll be doing:

As the Director of Mechanical Engineering at NVIDIA, you'll spearhead innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology. You will:

  • Lead a world-class team of mechanical engineers to successfully implement groundbreaking designs and solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to determine and define project requirements, ensuring flawless execution of deliverables.

  • Apply your proven expertise in coordinating the development of exceptionally detailed mechanical systems for our ambitious AI, robotics, and self-driving car initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, following established industry standards.

  • Mentor and develop talent within your team, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.

What we need to see:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience); a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred with 15+ overall years of experience

  • Successful track record in a leadership capacity in mechanical engineering, preferably in high-tech or AI-focused industries.

  • Outstanding skills in mechanical design, CAD software, and engineering analysis tools.

  • A track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams involved in designing mechanical systems.

  • A passion for innovation and a dedication to continuous learning and improvement.

The base salary range is 264,000 USD - 402,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits . NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
