Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic dental hygiene professional ready to make a difference by educating students who are eager to train as a dental hygienist? As a Dental Hygiene instructor, you will train students in your field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.

We’re seeking a dental hygiene professional, preferably with some teaching experience, to join the Dental Hygiene Associate Degree Program at our Nashville Campus.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares lesson plans using industry-standard approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).
• Teaching courses as assigned, instructs and evaluates students, develops students’ skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.
• Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
• Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
• Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.

Education/Experience Needed:

Minimum requirement: High School Diploma

• At least five (4) years of practical work experience in the field.
• Dental Assisting knowledge, hands on experience, dental office experience.
• Some teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Excellent people skills.
