Some key responsibilities for our dental assistants are:

Patient preparation:
Greeting patients, reviewing medical history, seating them in the dental chair, and ensuring their comfort.
Treatment room setup:
Preparing treatment areas by setting up instruments, trays, and materials needed for dental procedures. 
Chairside assisting:
Passing instruments to the dentist during procedures, suctioning oral fluids, and maintaining clear visibility of the treatment area. 
Radiography:
Taking dental X-rays following proper radiation safety guidelines. 
Sterilization:
Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. 
Patient education:
Providing instructions on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing techniques. 
Record keeping:
Maintaining accurate patient records, charting procedures, and updating treatment plans. 
Lab support:
Taking impressions of patients' teeth for laboratory fabrication of dental prosthetics.
