Job Title: Data Engineer (NetSuite ERP Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP , preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment , and strong programming skills in SQL and Python . You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that support business operations, analytics, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Integrate data from NetSuite ERP and other business systems into our data warehouse or analytics platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop automated reporting tools and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Optimize existing data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Participate in data architecture and warehouse design discussions.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP , including SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, or SuiteScript data extraction.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (e.g., complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with data integration tools and APIs.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

Preferred:

• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Familiarity with business processes such as order-to-cash, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Knowledge of BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
