Description Are you looking to kickstart your career and gain experience in a dynamic, real-world environment? Central Life Sciences in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Data Analyst Intern! This is a hands-on position, where the candidate will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects in support of our manufacturing facility.
This paid, 8-week summer internship will help the candidate gain valuable experience in a professional setting and will have the opportunity of interacting with teams across the organization and other interns.
Position: Data Analyst Intern
Location: 1302 Lew Ross Road, Council Bluffs, IA
Shift: Onsite Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational analytics.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to uncover key trends.
- Support ongoing reporting needs by creating compelling data visualizations.
- Ensure accuracy by performing data validation and quality checks.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize reporting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement using data insights.
QUALIFICATIONS - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong skills/proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Have the right to work in the U.S without restrictions.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Normal office and manufacturing environment that require safety gear
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs occasionally
