We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our Logistics Support team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our customer service operations, providing exceptional support to both our internal teams and our global customer base. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding service to both external customers and internal teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Manage inbound customer service calls and inquiries with professionalism and care.
Accurately process, review, and prioritize sales orders, service requests, and parts shipments, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
Resolve discrepancies in parts orders, including part numbers, quantities, and pricing, through effective communication with customers, service staff, and management.
Provide regular updates and analysis on sales orders, tracking their status and ensuring timely delivery.
Handle returns and service parts credits, ensuring smooth processing and proper documentation.
Communicate with customers and vendors regarding service/part transactions, expediting orders when necessary.
Collaborate with shipping teams to coordinate international shipping documentation and logistics.
Track freight costs and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring accurate billing and cost coding.
Coordinate the transfer of machines and parts across regions for both domestic and international shipments.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
3-5 years of experience in customer service or sales, with a focus on processing sales orders preferred.
An associate's degree in Business (preferred).
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (experience with JD Edwards is a plus).
Proficiency in programs such as DocuSign and Salesforce.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of international trade procedures, incoterms, and export/import documentation.
Experience with shipping software and data entry systems.
A keen eye for process improvements and the ability to implement changes that enhance efficiency.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
A problem-solver with a proactive attitude and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
