Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Complex Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling sophisticated commercial disputes, excellent analytical and writing skills, and a proactive approach to case management and client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in court hearings.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
• Support business development efforts and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar.
• 3–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.
• Team-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Experience with class actions, business torts, contract disputes, and regulatory investigations.
• Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and litigation support tools.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
