About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for its Clinically Integrated Network. The CMO will be a pivotal figure, driving the organization's commitment to high-quality, value-based care, and leading the development of evidence-based programs and practices. This role demands a dynamic physician leader, a change agent with a creative problem-solving approach, and a proven track record in pursuing key strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all services across the care continuum meet the highest standards, enhancing clinician alignment and satisfaction, and overseeing the implementation of quality management, performance improvement, and care redesign processes. Applicants for the CMO position must have a minimum of five years of progressive clinical experience, with a strong background in quality management, performance improvement, and value-based care. Experience in clinical integration, population health management, and a history of success in managing risk across various patient populations is essential. The ideal candidate will be an inclusive physician executive with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a collaborative and trusting environment. A strategic leader with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including the differences between independent and employed physician practices, and experience with integrated delivery systems, is highly sought after. The CMO should also possess strong executive and administrative skills, and be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships both locally and nationally.
