*JOB SUMMARY:*
The Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring that supplies and equipment are delivered in accordance with our safety and quality standards. Truck Drivers deliver locally.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
* Haul and unload aggregate, landscape and masonry block/materials.
* Performs pre-trip inspections of the equipment and material.
* Works with the maintenance team to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment and reports any issues early.
* Deal with customers, co-workers, and management in a courteous and respectful manner.
* Maintains constant awareness of safety, efficiency, and displays a flexible and out of the box thinking mindset with the capability to solve problems.
* Comply with all State and Federal driving regulations.
* Update and maintain daily driver logs.
* Perform all other duties assigned.
*QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:*
* Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
* Moffett/Princeton experience preferred but not required.
* Boom/crane experience preferred but not required.
* Proven safe driving record and DOT compliance. With 2 years driving experience.
* Ability to drive for extended periods and work at the unloading site in varying weather conditions.
* WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies.
* The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.
* Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.
* Daily runs, no overnight loads
*PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:*
* Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
