About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting career programs and services, fostering relationships with various stakeholders, and collaborating on student programming initiatives. This role involves providing individual career advising and coaching to students and alumni, developing and delivering career-related workshops, and serving as a liaison to a specific school. The Career Coach will also be involved in promoting job opportunities, providing career education, and assisting with resume writing, professional networking, and interviewing strategies. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, in a relevant field. A minimum of 2 years' related experience is required, with a preference for 3 years. The ideal candidate will have strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in standard office software. Familiarity with job search techniques, including creative strategies, and an understanding of the needs of an international student population are essential. The role demands the ability to work with diverse students, faculty, and employers, and to function effectively as part of a team. A background in career advising, academic advising, student support services, marketing, sales, or recruiting is also necessary.
