We're seeking Field Interviewers to help assess the quality of life and service satisfaction of individuals receiving state services in Arizona. This role offers flexibility and meaningful work, where your efforts will directly contribute to improving the lives of those you interview. Training will begin in early April and continue through May 2025 (or until all surveys are completed).

What You'll Do:

As a Field Interviewer, you'll play an essential role in gathering insights through semi-structured interviews with individuals aged 65+ or those with physical disabilities. You'll interact with people from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, discussing their experiences and satisfaction with essential services.

Key areas covered during the interviews will include:

Access to services (e.g., healthcare, case management)
Communication with service providers
Medical transportation and personal safety
Community inclusion and empowerment
You'll be responsible for conducting interviews in-person, by phone, or via Zoom, depending on participant preference.

Your Responsibilities:

Manage your own interview schedule.
Conduct interviews with empathy and professionalism, ensuring participants feel comfortable and heard.
Travel to participants' homes for in-person interviews when needed.
Use an online platform to track progress, document outcomes, and maintain participant confidentiality.
Facilitate phone and Zoom interviews, offering technical support as necessary.
Submit completed interviews, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Maintain compliance with confidentiality and data security regulations.
What We're Looking For:

Required:

Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Tech-savvy, with experience using Zoom and other online platforms.
Comfortable interacting with individuals with disabilities and a sensitivity to their needs.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport and encourage participation.
Access to a reliable car for travel to interview locations.
A personal computer, webcam, and secure Wi-Fi connection for remote work.
Preferred:

Prior experience in research fieldwork, especially conducting interviews or observations.
Familiarity with individuals with disabilities, older adults, or group homes.
A resilient and positive attitude, especially in the face of rejection.
Interest in professional development, particularly in social research or graduate school.
Compensation:

Training Pay: $400 total for training and orientation, broken down as follows:
$50 for pre-training modules
$300 for virtual training
$50 for completing a skills assessment and mock interview
Per Interview Pay:
$80 for phone interviews
$85+ for video interviews
$95+ for in-person interviews, depending on distance from your location
All work hours, travel time, mileage, and supplies are included in the per-interview compensation rate.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 18.00 20.00 Per Hour
