Job Summary
As the ATS Clinical Supervisor you will serve as the lead technician and first line support to the Clinical Manager at an account. You will also assist with scheduling, inventory, physician relations, and clinical activities to achieve or exceed operational and financial targets.
Maintain customer satisfaction with:
Surgeons/Physicians
OR administrators
OR/Pre-Op/PACU/Nursing Unit clinical coordinators
Clinical Educators
Blood bank lead/manager
Materials Management/Purchasing
Any other key hospital stakeholders
Assist with asset management including billing, inventory, equipment, repairs.
Assure adherence by associates in SpecialtyCare Scope of Services per contract.
May have responsibility for, but not limited to one or more of the following:
Autologous Blood Processing
Electrocardiograph (ECG) Monitoring
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumping
Minimally Invasive Surgical Support
Open Heart Support Assistance
Perfusion Laboratory Services/Lab Analysis Equipment
Other Clinical Services as Assigned
Collect and report quality indicator data as requested.
Ensure that all required documentation is done according to protocol established by the customer, SpecialtyCare and/or market and region.
Notify appropriate person(s)/department(s) when problems develop with equipment and/or personnel as established in SpecialtyCares’ protocols and policies.
Clean equipment at end of each case, prepare equipment for next case and appropriately disposes of all refuse.
Assist physician, perfusionist and other clinical staff members as requested.
Ensure that supplies are ordered, stocked and available as needed.
Ensure all new equipment is in-serviced in a timely manner.
Participate in appropriate hospital committees for demonstration of quality (e.g. blood management and process/outcome improvement).
Perform cases daily in the clinical setting.
Rotate in monthly call schedule as needed and covers PTO as needed.
May be required to competently support surgical procedures outside core service line duties by means of cross training and in-services.

Requirements
·High school diploma.
·Bachelor’s degree preferred.
·Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
·Three (3) or more years of related clinical training and/or experience.
