Job Description

Join Our Team as an Associate Therapist! We are seeking a passionate Associate Therapist to join our growing team. This part-time, remote position offers the flexibility to work from home, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a difference in the mental health field. As an Associate Therapist, you'll work approximately 25 hours per week, balancing client interactions and administrative tasks, all within a supportive and positive work environment. Our mission is to assist individuals, couples, and families in overcoming mental health challenges through a holistic approach, and we are committed to making mental health support accessible to everyone. Responsibilities:

  • Highly independent position with weekly supervision
  • Work with integrity, honesty, and a passion for making a difference
  • Collaborate with a positive attitude and continue learning to improve as a therapist
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized psychotherapy to adults and/or children
  • Trained in at least one evidence-based therapy (EBT), such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, or any other EBP
  • Complete all clinical notes within 24 hours
Qualifications:
  • Associate number and completion of 1000 clinical hours required (exceptions can be made based on experience)
  • AMFT/ASW/APCC, with a passion for working with children, teens, and adults
  • Ability to identify risk factors for mandated reporting
  • Previous therapy experience required
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment methods
  • DMH experience preferred
  • Experience with diagnosis, safety plans, and consulting with DCFS is preferred
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus
  • Team player with a positive attitude
